Tekxit (aka TKX) aims to provide the experience of both Tekkit and Hexxit at the same time, whether you want to travel to new worlds and create awesome machines like in Tekkit or have the exploration experience like in Hexxit this modpack has you covered. You need a bought/legit minecraft account to play this modpack!
1. Download and extract Technic Launcher.
2. Open Technic Launcher and go to the modpacks tab.
3. In the top left search bar that says "Add Pack or Search" type Tekxit 3.14.
3. Click Tekxit 3.14 (The author will be Slayer5934) and click install at the bottom right.
4. Before playing you must also set your RAM to the minimum amount!
5. Play and have fun!
Java 8 Version:
64Bit - You can get it HERE, install Windows Offline 64-bit, for linux users please refer to specific distro instructions for installing Java.
Please restart Technic launcher after installing Java, then select it and the memory amount by clicking launcher options then going to the java settings tab.
Memory:
Minimum - 3.5GB for 8 chunks; If you stutter every few seconds, lower view distance and restart.
Recommended - 4GB or more; Do NOT set your memory over 4GB unless you have more than 8GB!
Processor:
Minimum - Most laptop processors; If you have low average FPS, lower view distance and restart.
Recommended - FX series from AMD / Q6600 from Intel or higher probably Ryzen or i5
Graphics:
Minimum - Most integrated graphics; If you lag, change graphics from Fancy to Fast; If it does not start turn off stencil in Launcher Options.
Recommended - GeForce GTX / AMD equivalent or better, pretty much any dedicated GPU.
You get this error while installing/downloading the modpack?
Solution = Update your Java! (Instructions are below " -JAVA Update- ")
99.5% of installing and download errors are caused by an old java version!
1. Uninstall all java versions (on windows this is done from control center > apps and programs > right click > uninstall)
2. Install 64 Bit Java 8 from java.com
Make sure you have the right one. You NEED to get the 64-bit variant.
3. Restart your PC!
