If you have trouble using the modpack via Techniclauncher, follow those instructions on how to get Tekxit 3 on the MultiMC platform!

1. Download and extract MultiMC

2. Open the MultiMC folder you extracted and click "MultiMC.exe" to start it

!!! When a new update for Tekxit is released you need to import the new multimc zip and copy over the saves folder to keep your singleplayer worlds !!!

3.1 Add Instance

3.2 Click technic or twitch

3.3 Search for tekxit

3.4 Select the desired tekxit version

3. Download the desired Tekxit MultiMC version from HERE

You will find the download links on the corresponding modpack site!

4. In MultiMC Click:

4.1 Add Instance

4.2 Import from zip

4.3 Browse, pick the downloaded Tekxit-X-vX.XXX-MultiMC.zip

4.4 Click OK

5. Play and have fun

The technic and multiMC packs are the same. This means you can play together without issues.

You get this error while installing/downloading the modpack?

Solution = Update your Java! (Instructions are below " -JAVA Update- ")

99.5% of installing and download errors are caused by an old java version!

If you want to run Tekxit you will need the latest version of Java 8!

1. Uninstall all java versions (on windows this is done from control center>apps and programs>right click>uninstall)

2. Install 64 Bit Java 8 from java.com

Make sure you have the right one. You NEED to get the 64-bit variant.

3. Restart your PC!

If you want to run Tekxit 3 you will need to Dedicate At least 3.5 Gigabytes of Ram!

1. Open the Technic Launcher

2. Go to Launcher Options (Top Right)

3. Click Java Settings

4. Click Memory

5. Click 3.5 GB (Or Higher)

>IF YOU CANNOT GO HIGHER THAN 1GB PLEASE READ BELOW

Make sure Your Computer has more than 4 Gigabytes of Ram!

1. Uninstall 32 Bit Java

2. Install 64 Bit Java from java.com

3. Restart PC and Technic Launcher

4. Repeat the Process Above

The setup of a tekxit server is almost the same as a vanilla server

!!! 3-5GB Ram is recommended to run a server !!!

1. Download the server files from the techniclauncher page or HERE.

You will find the download links on the corresponding modpack site!

2. Extract the files to a convenient place. Your desktop is often a good place.

3. Read the readme.txt for any important info you WILL need.

4. Open the server.properties file with a text editor.

5. Change the "server-IP= " to "server-IP=0.0.0.0"

6. Go to your modem settings and open the server ports (listed below) for TCP AND UDP

Tekxit 1/2/3(LE): 25565

Tekxit 3.14(Pi): 31415

7. Make a firewall exception for the tekxit server.

8. Start the server with "Start server.bat"

!!! MAKE A FREQUENT BACKUP IN CASE THINGS GO WRONG !!!

You join by putting "localhost" into the server address. Others join with "Public-IP:port".

Your public IP can be found in the box below labeled "What is my IP" and the port is what you did in step 6.

How to Pre-generate a 10k block radius (Square) world:

!!! During pregenning you can't play on the server !!!

!!! Backup your world before before you follow these steps !!!

1. Download the Chunkgenerator.

2. Add this mod to mods folder in the server files.

3. Once you added the mod and started the server, run these commands in the server console:

/pregen utils setPriority pregenerator

/pregen timepertick 250

/pregen gen startradius square 0 0 b10000

!!! If you have low ram you can replace the last line with this !!!

/pregen gen startmassradius square 0 0 b10000 100

Once finished, restart your server.

To update a Tekxit server follow these steps

!!! Backup your Serverfiles before you follow these steps !!!

1. Delete the config, libraries, mods, scripts folders.

2. Delete the forge and minecraft_server jars.

3. Download the server files from the techniclauncher page or HERE

You will find the download links on the corresponding modpack site!

4. Extract the files to a convenient place. Your desktop is often a good place.

5. Read the readme.txt for any important info you WILL need

6. Copy everything from the extracted files into your server folder.

7. Start your server and enjoy the update!
